About my garden: I love plants. In the beginning i just wanted everything to grow now i am starting to get interested in putting plants that look good together both in colour and texture. We have a large garden with several diffent areas including a woodland area ( a bit wild) a large shrub and perennial bed, a couple of beds adjacent to our patio a back garden mainly vegetable and a recently planted small orchard. We have planted a large number of spring bulbs mainly daffodils which create a great show. We did a lot of work in our back garden which this year is finally starting to come together
More about me: I am full time working mother of three. I love our garden but do not get a lot of time to spend in it. My nagged to death husband does a lot of the hard work and makes himself available most Saturdays to dig,plant mow etc. We are trying to grow a variety of vegetables,salads and fruits this year and i get a great kick out of going outside the back door and picking some lettuce,scallion,radish etc and bringing them in for lunch.
