About my garden: I came across a seed site in Mayo called www.seedaholic.com and it has spurred me into expanding my range of flowers and plants, it is a fantastic site and I would recomend it to everyone. My garden was a complete builders yard at first but at last after a lot of hard work it is begining to look like the place I dreamt of once. I dont really have a design in mind, I like the natural look with many little nooks and crannies and I just plant things where I imagine they will look good. I also have a vegetable garden where I am currently growing tomatoes, potatoes, onions, beetroot, turnips, beans and radishes. This year I am trying to grow corn on the cob, it is looking good so far and I cannot wait to see the results.
More about me: I live in Swords, Co Dublin, in a small bungalow with a good size garden. I never grew anything before but these past few years I have been bitten by the gardening bug. I have some mobility problems following a road traffic accident, so actually doing the manual work takes a little longer than normal but it is more than worth it.
