About my garden: I've been gardening here for five years now. It's quite a small space, so I'm a bit restricted with what I can grow, further complicated by a sycamore casting its dry shade and sucking up moisture. I try to cram in as much as possible, so plant everything cheek by jowl-though that's not a tactic that always works! Winter losses over the past couple of years have meant a bit of an overhaul has been required, so the garden looks radically different this year, but is starting to get back to something that I'm more happy with.
More about me: Living near the coast with (normally!) quite mild winters means I can indulge in my passion for exotic plants. I've loved gardening since childhood and over the years I've become a bit of a plantaholic and love seeking out the different, exotic and unusual.
