About my garden: I feed my garden with manure from my chickens, ducks and goats. Most of my seeds are either my own saved in the previous year or from the Irish Seed Savers Assoc. with whom I've been a member for many years. My only pest control is the torch and a jar for the slugs that get fed to the ducks the following morning.
More about me: My main enthusiasm lies with the vegetables (and of course my animals who provide the food for the garden) but I'm also slowly starting to put some effort into growing flowers and shrubs, bit by bit.
The garden developed over the last 19 years when we moved to Clare from London. In that time I had to learn a lot since I was a total beginner and I'm not finished learning yet.
