About my garden: I have no garden yet. But I'm sure I will have it sooner or later. And my garden will be full of fragrant flowers, herbs, parti-coloured and evergreen shrubs, and some fruit trees, of course.
My favorite outdoor plants are dog-roses, rhododendrons, thujas, lilies, irises, differend kinds of alpine plants, and many others.
Now I care about indoor plants, that is my little window-sill garden.
More about me: My name is Olga. I'm enthusiastic, fond of gardening and lanscape design.
I was born in Vladivostok (the Far East of Russia), now I live in Vologda, in the north of European part of Russia. Our region isn't the northernmost, but the climat is rather inclement. Summer is short, and winter is long and snowy. Last couple of years we almost have no winter at all, just long-long-long autumn. But this year winter looks much more wintery :) we all glad to have snow and normal low temperatures (from -5 down to -35 centigrade).
Summer 2008 I visited Ireland. I was absolutely amazed at Irish gardening. I'm sure that Ireland is Mecca for gardener! Well done, indeed!
Last summer (2009) I came over to Ireland and met lots of friends from garden.ie. It was a garden fairytale for me!
Since autumn I have one more passion in my life - Irish dancing.
