About my garden: I have nearly three quatres of an acre, about a third of it is becoming a wild garden , the grass had not been cut back for years and no flowers could get through, now with a lot of effort they are returning, mostly without help but with a few additions,I put in a pond, again for the local wildlife and a pair of newts found it immediately , the frogs have spawned for the first time this year and it is full of life, I did put in two common carp and two goldfish to keep down the explosion of mosquitos we had the first year. The whole thing now looks as if it had always been there. Round the house I have lawns, more moss and daisies than grass!! some raised, sleeper, beds which I fill with tomatoes, french beans herbs, courgettes plus bulbs for colour, nasturtiums and all the flowers I can fit in as well!! I also have a bigger raised bed with sleepers at the back made from surplus stone from wall building in front. That is full of colour most of the summer, the Aubretia are nearly over
More about me: It is some years since I even looked at my profile when I put my house on the market I stopped doing much in the garden apart from keeping it tidy, as it has not sold I have started adding a few shrubs buying them locally from The cottage garden centre and little moon Nursery,, I am now 81 years old and not as active as I would liketo be I have another painting exhibition in July in Kilkee
