About my garden: Fairly large Dublin suburban garden, which includes a site for another house. HIgh walls with some Ivy and a number of shrubs , Skimia, Red robin, etc 3 small Conifer type trees. 5 feet in height, slow growing. The border is approx 4 feet wide from wall to grass edge and this is where I have my variety of flowers and shrubs. I mulch everything that come from the grass , leaves, Ivy and hedge clippings . I have this Compost heap behind my garage where it is out of sight, but working away.. I must however confess, I do not rotate this properly. Perhaps having exposed myselrf , just now I will Do so. My front garden has a lawn approx 160 sq Yards made up of 2 lawns, one in front of house and the side garden separated from the other by way of a driveway. I have an edging of flower beds approx 2 feet wide for a variety of flowers, eg Geraniums, Skimia, Veronica, Poeny Roses Hydrangea, Clematis,Fushia, daffodils , Impatiens gladioli . All of these of course in season I have a good record
More about me: I am 78 male and loving my garden. I propagate a lot of my own plants mainly flowers, eg Geraniums , Gladioli,Anthurinums, Hydrangeas, Selines, etc My question is. I bought Selines approx 40 years ago and split them every year and get perfect results. However this year for the first time the flowers are dying form infestation of Balck Fly. I never encountered this before. Have you any suggestions Please. Tommy o Brien
