About my garden: When we moved into our new house the garden was a bit of a mess and I have a lot of work on my hands to get it the way I want it. The soil in this area is very poor so I will be a bit restricted in what I can grow until I can feed, manure & mulch.I First thing was to put in some raised beds so I can grow my own veg. Have seven now! The original flower beds were just full of pebbles and a few shrubs. My plan is ...to dig and plant and put in some life and plenty of colour. This will take time as it will all have to be done with seeds and cuttings.
More about me: I'm fairly new to gardening but love every minute of it. I did'nt have the time when I was younger...working full time and bringing up two girls. Moved into new house with my partner Andrew in June 2009 and now have a big garden. I have two lovely cocker spaniels and they are just thrilled with their new space.I love to cook and want to grow my own veg. I did a gardening course at the local community school during the winter months to get as
much knowledge as possible.
