About my garden: I am in the process of revamping my small garden at the moment. I want to add raised planters for fruit and veg and rethink which plants I want to keep. I have picked up some unusual bits and pieces through the years and try and save seed each year or limp cuttings through the winter. For a small garden there's quite a lot of variety and always something in flower. As I'm in a housing estate I try to plant screening plants to give some privacy, I love my Birch and Amalanchier.
More about me: I live in a semi-detached house in Swords, Co. Dublin with my 15 year old son. I have always been interested in gardening and returned to education in 2005 to study horticulture in Teagasc, Kinseally and then in the Botanic Gardens. Graduated with a B.Sc. degree in 2009.
