About my garden: My garden is almost an acre in size. The house is at the top of a hill and the garden slopes front and back. The front lawn is easy enough to cut but the back is too sloped. Started to turn it into a cottage garden during the summer and it is doing well. Got the husband the put in nice paving stones that make their way down to a hidden graveled area (which will have a nice wooden swing there next year). The ground is quite wet so will probably have a lot of bog plants along with the usual cottage garden favourites. Have a fenced in veg patch and some apples trees and other fruit bushies.
More about me: Moved to Cavan 4 years ago with my husband to get a taste a rurual life. Started to seriously take on my garden due to the fact that we couldn't cut the grass out the back because it was too sloped. It has now become a passion.
