Where I live: Dungarvan, Co Waterford

About my garden: We have a 3/4 acre site, of which 1/3 is situated to the front of the house - mainly grass. The larger back garden is direct south facing and has a mixed hedge on 2 sides(south and west) with conifers to the east side. We have planted up a large bed curving around the patio area and a large circular island bed in the middle. One of my aims over the next year is to reduce the amount of grass. I have quite a few trees planted and have just started a small veg patch with a raised bed. I am still a very novice gardner but am learning all the time.
More about me: Hi, my name is Noelle and I live just outside Dungarvan, Co. Waterford - originally from Waterford City. I am married to Ray and have 3 boys, all teenagers. I am the gardner in the house. The boys and Ray cut the grass but pretty much leave the planning and planting to me.
