About my garden:
Our home is on a large site surrounded on three sides by old stone faced banks and some mature trees. Our garden is mostly grass with some new trees and flower beds. Our veg plot was made from scratch with raised beds and fenced from dogs and rabbitts. I have already had to convert some of the "garden" for more ground to give me extra room for a good rotation. I had a lot of work repairing the stone on the banks and making some stone features and shelters/sun traps. I am also making walks in the woodland and trying to construct a waterfeature and stream along the walks with a circulateing pump.
More about me:
Retired farmer. Married to Mary. Grown up family (1 in Dublin; 2 in New Zealand). Built our new home in 2004 on 7 acres, kept from farm, which includes garden, a veg patch, some mature woodland and a paddock.
