The leaves on my bay tree are going yellow and are dropping off. What can I do to fix this problem ? I would appreciate any advice you can give me.

Bay trees in pots go yellow because they are too dry or standing in water, or do not get any food.
The pot must drain, the compost must be kept just moist and the pot should be fed every three to four weeks from April to September.
