Can I feed bay trees with tomato feed or can you suggest a suitable food. They are sparse and a little sad looking at the moment.

It is too late to feed bay laurel trees this year. If they are in the open ground, feed with good compost or some tree and shrub fertiliser in spring.
Or if they are in pots, pay close attention to watering, even every day and make sure it soak in fully, and feed every three weeks with complete liquid feed, such as Miracle Grow or Phostrogen, between April and September.
Be careful never to feed a dry pot.
