bay trees

jenny ryan asked 13 years ago

I have 2 bay trees in pot outside my front door,in the hard frost I covered them, but there are a few brown leaves ,nothing bad( dead liitle stems).I had 2 last year which died in the frost and this year I minded these 2 but still have signs of frost bite,is there anything that I give them to nourish them,do I clip back the dead leaves?

Bay trees in pots can run short of moisture in the chilly time of year and may need watering, but should not be stood in water or made too wet.
