I have some perennials that were bought for me in the last month but because of a bad back was unable to plant them as yet. Is it too late to plant them now? or could i plant them and give them a good mulch? or should i just cut them back and leave them in their pots and plant them in early spring?

Perennials can be planted at any time if they are in pots, but the sooner, the better.
