Escallonia hedge

I have an escollonia hedge about 3years, I think it needs trimming but I’m not sure when the right time would be,

Escallonia, or any other shrub or hedge, does not need trimming except in so far as you think it needs trimming. That is …. you decide when it is tall enough, wide enough and what shape it should take, or let it just grow.

If you decide to trim it, this can be done between March and September, especially just after flowering in summer.
