french beans

fons jaspers asked 13 years ago

For years now, I’m growing dwarf french beans. Most of the time, the first ones that I pick are OK, but after that the beans start to curl and twist and become unsuitable for eating. Why, and what to do?

Mis-shapen beans are generally caused by either too-rapid growth or weather damage, notably strong winds. It can also happen due to poor pollination and this can be caused by strong winds too.

But mis-shapen beans are still edible.
