How can I get rid of ivy that is trailing into my flowerbed. It is on a stone wall that runs along the back of the bed.

The best way is to chop it back every so often along the base of the wall, and clip the ivy on the wall. You could use Brushwood killer to kill the ivy but it would look unsightly for a long time until it rotted away.
