I have a parrot plant on my kitchen window sill, it is getting too tall for here, can I nip the top of the plant to stop it growing up? I have moved it to another place but the leaves drooped so I had to put it back on the window. Any advice on this plant would be great

The parrot plant is called Congo cockatoo, a form of Impatiens, related to busy lizzie, and needs the same care, and yes, you can take pieces off and root them in water and give them away, so that if you ever lose it, you will get it back.
