Planting Bay Laurel

Reynagh Garland asked 14 years ago

Can I plant Bay laurel directly in the ground. I would prefer not to keep it in a pot. I live in Dublin 6, and we are relatively frost free.

Bay laurel can be grown in the open soil, well-drained, but give it space because it can reach 8 or 10 metres tall and nearly as wide, or it could be clipped or pruned to size.
