Can I sow carrots seeds and put down early seed potatoes now or should I wait until the weather improves. Still frosty in mornings

Although the soil is cold, if it is in good condition for sowing, there is little to be lost. The seeds will germinate when the weather warms up. Even if the sowing is a failure, it is not a huge loss and worth the risk. The potatoes will sit tight until the ground warms up, making growth underground. In a late year, the weather changes suddenly.
