There are various ways of propagating lilies. The most simple is to take off any daughter bulbs that have formed naturally, whent he top has withered later in the year.

Some species produce little bulbils along the stem and these can be taken off when they separate at at touch and potted up to grow on.

Finally, it is possible to either cut a cross across the basal plate of a lily bulb, or to break away scales, and put them in moist peat or vermiculite in a warm place in early spring to sprout bulbils, These are grown on and separated when well formed.
