I have recently started collecting seed potatoes for storage. At the moment i am storing them in a paper potato sack.In a dark location.Is this ok and do you have any other advice as Regards storing seed potatoe and propagation? If blight is contracted how does this affect the seed potato?

Seed potatoes are best stored in a pit outdoors, proected from rodents, covered with straw and soil or just soil, the pile kept above soil level, or in a cool airy shed indoors, ideally with an earthen floor.
Do not store blight affected tubers as they can carry over blight to the follwoing year.
