I have 2 plum trees separated by about 10 feet. One of them has some type of disease. One of its two branches produced leaves which are falling off and have brown spots. The other branch has no leaves at all. The other tree is perfect and is producing fruit. Can you help with the sick tree? Regards, Gasman

The ailing plum tree sounds like it has bacterial canker disease and will probaby die eventually. It would be best to remove it and re-plant a new tree.
