I need to build up the level of my garden by 0.5m, how do i do this?I’m starting my garden from scratch and want to plant a lawn, shrubs and veg.

To build up the soil level, use good topsoil and firm it a little so that it does not settle badly later. Only work on it when the soil is reasonably dry and the weather is good.
With .5 metre to be added, there might be an issue at the edge of the area where it meets neighbouring property, as it will need to be retained or slope down at the edge.
