I have some beautiful Lavandula angustifolia blooming in a particular bed in my garden, however it does encroach on a slabbed footpath and tends to get damaged by my ride-on everytime i mow the grass, my intention is to relocate them to a new circular bed in which i planted a ‘Pineapple Broom’ tree just this year, when and how should i transplant them without affecting the plant health too much?

Lavender, when established, roots deeply and moves poorly due to root disturbance.

Trim back after flowering.

Start new plants in the other location.
