Looking for your advice on what to do with my new flower bed 10mx5m in the front of the house. I will be planting in two weeks but im not sure whether to lay the weed barrier and bark mulch on top, weed barrier and top soil on top or just plant and laying nothing at all and continue weeding until the plants eventually will cover.

Weed barrier mesh needs to be covered to disguise it, and works reasonably well, but weeds will grow on top of it eventually because of the covering bark.

The bark lasts just two years, and rots away, but most plants will be well-established by then and weeds less troublesome.
