Just wondering if anyone has been to the chelsea flower show before and i am looking for some tips. I plan on going this year but i dont really know anything about it. All information is appreciated!! Thanks

Hi, I went a few years ago and it was fantastic but very crowded. We got an afternoon ticket but tbh I think we could have got a morning one and hung on. I was torn between relief and disappointment at not being able to bring much home as we flew over. I would love to go again, have a great time! o

Hi there! Visited C.F.Show last year and really enjoyed it. However, prepare for huge crowds which often made it difficult to see some of the show gardens. Plenty to see, but wear good walking shoes!

Too crowded, even on members day, but the floral pavilion is worth every minute you spend there. Pray for rain, heavy heavy rain to put folk off. In general I find Chelsea much about the design and less about the plants, and big on marketing. Still it is the top of the tree, and a privilege. Go very early , stay very late, book your food or bring your own, one of those wheely collapsible crates or a back pack would be handy, not a brolly, and wear waterproof shoes ( if it rains). Very very tiring, and overpriced. You have to see it though. Sanabria
