Quick and effective herb garden... Expand / Collapse

I had a brainwave one day last year. I had some cavity blocks lying around and some old pots of herbs, the pots looked like they would fit in the holes of the cavity blocks so I tried them out and they fitted perfectly. To cut a long story short, I very easily created a multi level herb garden that is portable (relatively) and can be made to fit pretty much any space. Have a look at my profile and see the results. Im planning to give them a lick of paint this summer or maybe put some other covering on the bricks themselves to make them look more pleasant.

Hope someone finds this helpful.

Hi Ronan, I think your herb garden looks great. Think long and hard before painting though! you might regret it when you have to keep it looking well! background

That's true, I was also thinking of putting some screening on it as an alternative to paint but I imagine it would be a fiddly business cutting it to size without it breaking up. I'll ponder upon it until after my exams in May and then I'll have a proper look at it...

Thanks for your suggestion!
