i planted my pea plants out recently, (two weeks approx), a couple of days later i notices the leaves getting yellow squiggly patterns , but no holes gone right through, i took a closer look and there is small brown insects like midge with no wings all over and when you go near them they jump, derris dust was not successful, i got another mixture to spray on but, this just kills them on the spot and some reappear again in a few days.the plants are growing, but not a healthy color.

i had peas in diff spot last year and was very successful, the only thing i had did differently was, that i put some horse dung in through the soil two weeks before planting out. background
