Can anyone recommend the best varieties of tomatoes and peppers for a tunnel in a very northern location. I had good results last year with Tomato Ailsa Craig and a new variety called Cristal. They were very late to ripen but when they did, they were great. Other years my tomatoes succumbed to blight, even in the tunnel.

I am looking for a sure fire variety possibly for a pot.

I have also not had good results with peppers in recent years as they have a very long growing season and we don't seem to have got enough sun to ripen them. I would love some advise from those of you who have been more successful.
