Where can i find a supplier of bare root strawberry plants, online or in ireland, particularly the following varieties - Gariguette, Hapil, Chelsea Pensioner, Mara des Bois, and especially Marshmello. I have tried Ken Muir, UK but they do not ship to Ireland any more. I had planned on getting 80 - 100 plants. I already have Elsanta and Cambridge Favourite growing successfully. I have tried Local garden centres but no luck. All advice and information gratefully received.

I would try English's Fruit Nursery, Raheenduff, Adamstown, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. They produce very healthy stock.

I bought plants mail order from Mr. Middleton and then I bought a load in Aldi, the mail order lot produced loads of really tasty strawberries and I got almost nothing from the Aldi ones. I'll give them one more season and out they go! The Mr. Middleton ones were brilliant, but order in Winter and plant when they arrive in early spring. I put mine in window boxes in the tunnel and they are outside now that they are finished.

HI Did you get the strawberry plants and if so how did they do ? I am thinking of getting some this year, Looking for some where that is good value and reliable. Also looking for some raspberry plants, canes Thanks Dana
