Shovler I'm sure lots of people would love free plants, but you might need to tell them where abouts in the country you are.

Clonmel is a bit far for me even for free plants :-) I'm in wexford I've mailed a member on here who lives in Borrisoleigh and might be intrested in them if your looking for them to go to a good home. Good luck with the new computer and keep at it. It will open up a whole new world to you :-)

Hi I see from some of the old entries there was a organized plant swap in 2009. Does anyone know is there going to be anything similar this year? I would be very interested,

Dana that plant swop happened in 2009 at the garden.ie offical meeting organised by the site, but there has'nt been another one and as far as I know there are'nt any planned (as they are quite difficult to organise as quite often the plants people have to swap are often the same plants) Mostly what happens is people who chat regularly on site and become friends (usually those close geographicall to each other too) will swap plants on an occasional basis. The garden.ie regulars do meets throughout the year without a plant swap, the next will be in Johnstown Garden Centre on March 5th. Hope this helps.
