Good afternoon all, what a smashing day eh?, now as you can see in the photo, i have a block and cement wall and i want to have a nice flowering or even no flowering plant that will fall down and cover this wall, i don't want to paint it, i am willing to take some of the grass away to make a bed for the plants, i have tried the campanula as is in the photo but it just won't grown down and grass is now coming up through it, any ideas and help will be gratefully recieved

Back breaking

Good afternoon all,

What a glorious day, sun shining, blue sky and getting warmer as the hours go by, got a lot of weeding and edging done then had to turn to the patio, oh what a job, getting all the moss out between the flags of the patio, every year and with my old back i find it harder and harder, if anyone in here in gardenland knows of any tips or ideas to stop this happening, i would gladly do whatever, now i have put the dry sand & cement & watered down when first got, no luck, i spray over the summer months to stop weeds, even though the black weed control fabric was put underneath before we put the flags down. Thank ye all in advance, i will put up an album of all my blooms etc a little later on, enjoy the weekend folks, its gonna be beautiful oh and Happy Mothers day too all the Mammy Gardeners

Bought & planted

the assortment to be given homes

the assortment to be given homes

Good afternoon all, sunny windy & cold here in west cork, bought some few plants over past few weeks and more this morning so went to plant them all earlier before hubby came home, he see's if they just lying around but not if they are planted, he is not a gardener, the less he knows at times the better, so i planted up syringa vulgaris pink & blue by the top patio( bought these online gardensforyou.ie )planted bulbs, trees, an azalea pink and white and campanula & heather on the ditch, the lithodora heavenly blue will have to wait until i get to clear the bank of other not doing so well plants and then they will go in instead. Happy with my day and yes im still waitng for Tommy to come tell me when he can start putting the shed yet to be named together.

Moss Moss & More Moss

Good evening all, i know some of us gardeners love moss, i think its ye who have small gardens to tend to, but when you're in the countryside like myself, it just takes over the sones, ditches, trees, ground, i had a big job this morning of getting rid of it, now when i took the photo it doesn't show too much, i though of taking the photos too late. but multiply what you see by 100 as that is only a small patch, i was well in pain by 2pm so came inside, showered and went to town to meet a man who is helping me put my shed (name of it yet to be decided) together, he is calling to see the doors and area tomorrow evening, and when leaving town, the indicator came on so i had to obey and came out from the shop with a Chaenomeles hehe, ohh im bad, but it will look lovely up by the undecided name thingy yet to be made.

It has turned to drizzel and cool after such a wonderful sunny warm spring morning, but nice to look outside and admire my work in the conservetory by the stove fire. And im ready to fall asleep. Hope ye all have a lovely evening
