I now have Chillies growing on in pots but can anyone advise as to getting them to produce? Do they climb, cling or need support eventually. Never tried these before. I just potted six in two grow bags in with the Toms?

Now I have a tray of unwanted Cosmos to pot up. A stray seed packet that just screamed at me some time ago " sow me" Arghhhhhhhh

Well the Paulownia have left the nursery (the first 30) and are now hardening off but in this weather Iam sure they havent even noticed. These 4" pots wont do very long as they are now growing unbelievably fast.

What Iam going to do with two hundred of these I have no idea ha ha ha

These have self seeded among the backyard patio slabs! And we all worry about soil type, moisture and feeding !!! These seem to have no difficulty "making do".

Are they "Cosmos" or a n other variety which I dont remember sowing last year? HELP

Well I finally commenced potting on the "fastest growing little trees in the world" today. A total of fifteen of the strongest have now been transferred to the 3" pots and returned to nursery.

They will be outdoors in a weeks time once they realise they are on their own . Special 100%high quality Spaghnum compost too no less.

At this rate of going I will need at least another 150 x 3" pots and some patience!

Blue Geranium

I lover their show but they can take over an entire area if let. My hostas are lost behind one presently!

Of the three new roses I planted last year "Margaret Merrill" has bloomed first with a lovely fragrance too. It was the new aroma in the platoon area that got me searching for its source. Greenfly onboard too!! Planted some peppers in the growbags, leeks into their permanent spot and sprayed the earlies for blight. The veg garden is back in shape after some serious attention this week end. Still have loads of dahlias. Giant oxeye daisy to plant out.
