A bit early, but welcome anyway...
My Christmas Cactus is flowering already. I had a few for several years and none of them flowered, then I read somewhere, maybe on this site, that they need a bright place so I moved one to the sun-room and it's done well last year and again now. I must find some more bright places, but nearly everything needs to be in the light!!

Maybe not such a good idea
If the inauguration had been here in Cork they would have had lovely fine weather and even some sunshine! I actually cut the grass this morning, mainly to clear the leaves, though I'm not sure if it was such a good idea as I have wheel tracks and even some foot-prints after the rain during the night.

Not bad for November
I was away last week when we had a few chilly nights, so I was agreeably surprised to see that most things in the garden were still alive. A lot of unexpected things still have the odd flower. I'll put up an album.
