more weeding

a few hours work - and still a lot to do

a few hours work - and still a lot to do

i went out yesterday to do some weeding and i only lasted about 90minutes-my hands nearly fell off me. but today i went out at 11 ish and i came in around 4.30.

i was happy with what i got done so i only hope to continue it next weekend but met eireann said that air temps could reach -8 on saturday. ...yikes! shrug.gif

the 2 girls were all excited about filling the feeders with nyger seeds, sunflower seeds and fat balls. we have them hanging where we can see them all day from the kitchen. they should come in handy if we get the predicted coldsnap next weekend

when i was in the middle of weeding today i came across a load of snowdrop clusters that were hidden by huge hellebores foliage. i think they breathed a sigh of relief when i removed the foliage and let the light in

it is incredible how time slips by and things get left undone....well today i decided that i would go out and start weeding, something i hadn't done in months. i was delighted with what i got done and hope to be able to continue over the next few weekends

nature springing into life

great to see nature springing into life. not sure of the name of this daffodil but its in flower now since the last week in december so some of the individual ones in clumps are just going over

am looking forward to seeing what the next few weeks bring

i'm in the market for a new lawnmower.

can you recommend any good places that might have a sale on help.gif

i'm replacing a toro which was great-i've googled and googled and theres a few english sites coming up but if i could get an irish one i'd be happy.

i'm thinking maybe €400 ish
