hi everyone hope any of you that have a wet day are enjoyin it like the ducks, rain seems to drain my energy and enthusium. called up to horkans today and was i glad i did, got talkin to one of the lads that work there, he told me about a course that he is just after completeing just has exams to do . i will be at the college tomorrow to get my application, its actully the college i went to, moneenageisha college in galway. so its back to school for me, it is a full time course mon to friday all half days finished at one and it starts in september its a RHS certified course and they cover all the difereint aspects of it so thriled, as i want to go into nursery growing. hope to do some stuff tomorrow if it is a good day and not cold i will begin my hardin off, make room soon hopefully to move around instead of fallin over things. bye for now and happy gardening.

hi everyone weather has broke a bit since my last entry, great weather for those anoying weeds, i mustnt have mulched heavy enough because the little buggers are coming through. loking into sorting out a compost heap for next year as it would cost me a fortune in mulching materials. i bought some seeds and some plants today "aquilegia" and more chrysantemum. i have gone mad into herbs and got basil, thyme, rosmary, oregano. hope to turn my patio into a herb and tall plant paradice will post photos as soon as i have it done, spent the evening giving a second coat of paint "red cedar" to my picnic table and one of two trelisis, didnt realise how anoying painting a trelis could be so many nuks and cranies. i got a teracota garden clock and thermonetor in aldi, they are so cute. need to start hardening off stuff soon running out of space again. sow beetroot spring onion and peppers and thyme yesturday and first batch of chrysantemums. i was disgusted today at aldi, a full trolley of bedding plants unsuitable for sale but still out there, looked like they hadnt been watered in a week, litterly dead. while i was at horkans today, one of the girls said to me do you ever actully sit down, i dont except at nite, i am always up to something and when i am sitting i am watching garden programs or looking up one of my books.my 10 yr old daughter told me i am bonkers about gardening, that is true, any spare money i have goes on the garden. cant resist a plant of some sort. puts a spring in my step. well bye for now and happy gardening even if it is in the rain.

hi everyone. hope you are all well. finally i finished weeding just need to mulch and plant a few little shrubs i bought in aldi a few weeks ago. then i am ready to tackle mums garden. thank god for the gorgous weather and hope it lasts. bye for now and happy gardening

hi everyone how is the gardening going, i am sure you are all busy in the garden. i dont know if this happens to anyone else but when i am weeding or planting a song comes into my head and it keeps playing over and over in my head while i am gardening, its weird sometimes it could be a christmas song, today it was the song from the gregs bakery, where the guy has a dog and loves it to bits but when he eats the pie he sends him to the dog pound. the line in the song that kept playin in my head was " until tomorrow i"ll just keep movin on" it is so weird, got alot of work done today, spent 4 hours weeding a border that goes from the back of the house to the gate, its really long, hopefully i will get another bed done tomorrow. finally i have caught up with the work in the tunnel, both my mums and my window boxes and containers are done, last saturday i was pulling my hair out with all the work i had ahead of me, now i feel more relaxed about it. it amazed me how much work i got done in a week.

hi everyone hope all are well, just when i think i am on top of things, i find more stuff to do. washed a load of pots in small barrel, better than wetting and messing in the kitchen floor and sink. i have my mums pots and window boxes planted up and in the middle of doing mine, feed them well and they will look nice when they go out. hubby put my bench together today so now i have somewhere to sit when i am tired after all the work bye for now

hi everyone happy easter. i have just added more photos. hope to get alot more done tomorrow, including my veg patch. that will be a job for hubby and the kids. while i get on with the weeding and tidying out the front.if the weather goes against me i will work in the tunnel and the kids get away with not doing some work. i am sure i will find something for them to do. well bye for now. hi everyone i am back, been so busy with the kids and the garden that i havent been on the site. everything is coming together slowly, feels like i will never get on top of everything. i really need to split myself in two. hope to have photos soon hope to get a good bit done on monday and during the wk. how is everyone getting on with the gardening.planting my window boxes and baskets so that they will look good when they go outside also doin my mums garden next month as she cant do it since her op. well bye for now, wont leave it so long adding a entery in my journal and hopefully some up to date photos on my gardening progress
