rain has stopped

28 November 2009 23:42:36

hi everyone

hope you are all well and happy. the rain has stopped for now and the floods are not to bad. spent most of the day organising notes and putting them in proper copies as my handwriting is terrible. we went to see st marys college this morning and was very impressed. it is one of the secondry schools that my son wants to go to. his first reaction was wow. cant believe my eldest is going to secondry in sept 2010. yikes i am getting old, was it me or was the x factor very boring, ususally i would stop what i am doing and watch it but tonight it was terrible. joe was the only one i watched properly. AND NO ITS NOT BECAUSE THE TWINS ARE GONE.i kept writting that is how rubbish i thought it was. hopefully i will get more work done tomorrow. my sister has her christmas tree up. god forgive me but i actually dont like christmas apart from christmas eve and been with the family for dinner. i believe that shops should not put anything up before the 8th of december. like it used to be. the whole meaning of christmas is lost. to commerical now. we are across from woodies where i go to college, i refuse to go in there now at lunch time yuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. thats my thing about christmas. CANT WAIT TILL SPRING WHEN I CAN SOW MY SEEDS AND WATCH THEM GROW YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi everyone hope you are all well and happy. spent yesturday tidying tunnel and got all my bulbs sown in window boxes and containers. i will plant them out in spring, i prefer this way because i know what is what and the type of display i want to make with them. i forget what i plant and where if i do it by just plopping the bulbs down in the ground and it usually ends up a mess. busy with projects, thought i only spent an hour typing last night, it was actually 3, started at 9 and when i looked at my watch it was 12.15. time flies when you are having fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. well back to the books. i am going outside to name my plants in the border i chose to do as my month by month project. i will check back in a while round nine after the x factor. i am an x factor junkie folks have to get my fix. bye for now

happy gardening
