was it just me or did anyone else notice that it wasnt pitch dark at 5 there was still day light, i was cooking dinner. it was the weather that made me feel so crappy, the east and south seems to be having the great weather we have rain and drizzle and its not as warm as it was on monday.

after shopping tomorow i will hopefully get out and about. looked through my seeds today instead and found a few that i can do now, definatley want to get some cabbage going. it was fun looking through all the seeds and planning where they will all go

spent a few minutes in the tunnel checking on things, cant believe my fuchsias are still in flower in january, this has to be one of the mildest winters yet

i need a kick

11 January 2012 12:18:06

where has my buzz gone? i cant seem to get going at all today, was home by 10.30 this morning but the weather is not helping been drizzly and a bit on the cold side excusses excusses. i am looking through my seeds to see what can be done in the tunnel like aquilegia and cabbage and a few bits that dont need heat.

the day is young so i still might get something done yet

what a day

10 January 2012 20:56:18

today was a totally horrible wet, drizzly and just not workable. so i tackled laundry and housework and was delighted to here that tomorrow afternoon is promised better,

i have a computer course to sign up for in the morning at fas and then back out home, just might sneak down to woodies which is quite near to fas after signing up.

then home to do some clearing that i ddint get finished in that bed because i was too busy yapping to everyone

potting on

after doing some weeding , decided to start potting up the geranium and forget me nots that i got off clara and hoeys, please forgive me if i am wrong about who gave me the geranium. i got 6 out of that bunch and another 6 forget me nots out of what you gave me clara. they will be kept in the tunnel until they are strong enough to be out in summer. i am trying to sort out the plans for the front garden, i have changed some of the plans i had in my head as it is a case of the circle not really fitting the square if ye know what i mean. in the mean time i am dividing and lifting stuff that will be put else where when the beds are ready

where do i start

as moya has said spring is definately in the air. after coming back from the dentist and two fillings later  was buzzin to get out so out i went and started weeding and clearing the beds, my hubby said i was brimming from ear to ear. got a small bit done, had a massive battle with creeping buttercup, i seemed to be stuck in the same spot for ages. got some done between chatting to the neighbours, hopefully the forecast is good although the weather lady said at 7 that rain in the west for tomorrow maybe and hopefully they are wrong

a massive thank you

08 January 2012 21:59:09

just a quick line to say a massive thank you to you all, you are such a fantastic bunch of people who i felt at ease with straight away. thank you for the seeds and plants and books. next year i will know better about what to bring, was totally unprepared and overwhelmed with it all.

thanks again folks
