I like the way this turned out

We are going to Co Donegal end July for a week. We are definitely going to visit Glenveagh National Park!! I believe it is beautiful. We are staying in Clonmany so if any Garden.iers from Donegal can recommend any other gardens or places of interest, that we might visit that would be great :) My sister-in -Law is from the Clonmany area, the annual music/dancing/drinking :) festival is on that week, so I am really looking forward to it .. hopefully the weather will settle down before that

Poor little swallow

On my wellies

On my wellies

We have a swallows nest in the shed and they are on their second brood... Usually the adult birds take no notice of us as we go in and out,  but yesterday everytime I went in they were making a terrible fuss and flying over my head .. I could not figure it out until I saw that one of the 5 little babies had come out of the nest and was on the floor. The nest is in the rafters but it seems not to have hurt itself .. we cannot put it back in as it is too high up .. it can fly a bit because everytime I go in the shed he is in a different place, and seems to be doing ok .... He seems to like my wellies .. I hope he survives
