White Perennial Foxglove
Irish Plants Direct. I'm so lucky in that they come to Westport every Saturday and the temptation to visit their stall is hard to resist!! I bought the pictured white perennial foxglove a few months back - it's taken a while to come into flower but wasn't it well worth waiting for. A couple of weeks back I couldn't resist the Scabious 'beujolais bonnets' with its wine red flowers. It's got loads of buds on so will put up a photo when it comes into flower - it's a delight! It seems now that I bought the Rudbeckia 'Irish Eyes' (see previous Journal) from Irish Plants Direct as they tell me they were selling this plant a year or two back. They always have something different and most weeks I tell them 'I shouldn't be here' but what's a gardener to do!!!
