Headache.

Niki under fuchsia's tree,and Bruce:))

  Today i had so big headache,i thought i will get sick.I can't sleep,so ,i took extra tablets and went in garden and start weeding in my new flower bed,after some 30 or more min..yea,,my headache was gone,and i did good work.Niki was good helper today,,helped with weeding,helped when i picked garden huckleberries(Solanum melanocerasum).Ah,yes and our dog all time accompany us.So,i had nice day at end,and nice company too:))

When i walk around Farmleigh walled garden,i saw a lots nice plants,and trees.I remeber when we talk here about growing Wisteria like tree,and for my big surprise ,,gues what i saw-yes,Wisteria tree.Nice,small sizes,and flowering.And scent of flowers,,oh,,it already on my wish list.

   Yesterday we went to Farmleigh.Met there Fran ,who gave me seeds,of his beautiful camapanula,,and to Myrtle-Thank you very much,for so healty little eucomis plants!!! And thanks to Fran of course,who brought them for me.

   While i was running around plant stalls,,i lost my family.Oho...ususaly while i run 2th or 3th time around stalls ,,i see them unhappy faces no idea how many times,,but now..It was so strange!!!So i took my phone and call,,,ansver was-we're at art class.Art class was next to entrance in fair.What a great idea!!!I hope at next fairs will be same:))

p.s.I got there some shrubs and perennials.There my list,,shrubs:Stewartia pseudocamellia  Eucryphia   lucida 'Pink Cloud' Kolkwitzia amabilis 'Pink Cloud'    (from Future forests)

Feijoa(Acca)

Before we leave Killarney,i has to get some plant from there,and we went to local g/c I bought there Feijoa 'Aplollo'(Acca) ,,it have edible flowers and fruits.I just wondering,do some one of you have experience with this shrub?

Unkonw tree at Bantry's garden.

Maybe someone can help me,i saw this tree in Bantrys house and garden.It is beautiful,flowering right now,,and flowers is nice scented.I was looking in my encyclopedia,and it look like Eucryphia x nymansensis...But i'm not sure.

Hello and good morning to all!

  I'm sorry,you didn't see coments from me last week,,but i have good excuse.We were for little holidays.Went out last Thursday,and come back yesterday at tea time.First we went to Co.Cork,then Co.Kerry.We saw some nice houses and gardens,beautiful views with mountains ,and old farms.Went for tour with boat and watched at seals on Kenmare bay.We were in Crag cave,,and it was amazing...and we saw a lots other things.

   I think i'm still full with all what i saw,that it is in big mix right now in my mind.We wanted see more,but...i never think that Killarney can be so busy,,so many people,so many cars...But we'll come back,,there was much more,what we didn't see.

I have couple dhalias,no names.Like it is not big problem,but sometimes is better know,what is it.Abaut this one all what i know,it is one from Bishops,but with one-no idea.Maybe someone know?

Morning surprise!

Lilium napalanse.

Yesterday it was still in bud,and this morning,first thing what is saw in garden- it open,,atlast.It's my only one Lilium napalense,wit only one flower.It is not very tall some 40 cm,and bud was some 10 cm.I hope mine some day will be same like Monika's .

I got one of them,,from Rachel

 I'm was bit lazy last days,did not to much in garden-little weeding,little repoting,wattering in glasshouse and flowers in pots.Oh,yes,we atlast cut grass yesterday,i wanted to do it week ago,but nobody listen at me...

   Today was great day,weather wasn't too good,but i had very nice visitor,,from Co.Wexford.Rachel was so nice and visited me,after she did her own things in Dublin.

  Myrtle's scadoxus was first,then Linda's,,and one of mine now too is flowering.This i got in Lidl,other from rareplants.co.uk,,,and that other still sleep.I measure it ,,flower head is 15cm wide.Nice one:)
