Need advice.

New hellebore,close up.

Hi,to all!

  Nice day,isn't?!Was out  in garden,and come in for cuppa tea.I was looking at my Lupin tree (Lupinus arboreus) for last couple weeks.No idea what to do with it?!After winter it look very poor.On top have green leaves,but then bare stems.Do you think it would be good idea to cut it back?

   And one more pain,,my callistemon,,,after last years rich flowering,i think i wont get any flowers this year.Leaves is brown and look dry.Cut it back too?

  News form garden,,my hellebore atlast show up her little face.I grown it form seedling,i take 3 years untill flowering,maybe it coulb be less,if i didn't move it every year from one place to other.Other happy news-Romneya coulteri is alive,and Erithronium ' Pagoda'and 'Kondo' is up.

  Last year my friend sent me some flower plants from LV.And this one too.I'm really happy to see it flowering.It remaind me Latvia,where Kidneywort is native plant in local forests.Them little blue flowers always show -Spring is here!

This time postman brought them to me,i didn't have to go and get them.Bit to far to for walking or going on bus anyway:).Got my South African bulbs today.They look bit smaller like i thought,,but little bit time and good feeding will give them good form.

Something sunny...

Yesterday was great day for being outside.But to wet for work in garden.So i deside to check my flower pots.And sort out what is still alive and what not.Poted some of my new bulbs,repoted in new compost old ones,repoted roses 'Rhapsody in Blue' in bigger pots.I dug ut my kanna lily ,what i forgot last autumn in flower bed,for my big surprise ,there was ,new grow,,so i poted them too,hope they will grow.I going to leave them there and do not plant again in flower bed.

  And then start check out my fuchsias.Most of them look alive,only fuchsias what i was growing like standarts was dead... :(At end i was mixed 3 wheelbarrows with compost,and finish only because i ran out of grit.With dirty nails and in good mood went in and made some cake,it was wort to celibrate-first all day in garden!

Ok,ok,,it is my own fault.But...Yesterday i saw Jacintas jurnal,,,after that i couldn't talk for while.I did try to keep my self 'in frame',,,do not buying any plants-bulbs until reall spring come,,when nice and warm,and no more frosts,,and i don't have to worry about all...Mh,,so,,i read jurnal,then,,,it was last drop in cup...all..i need go and get some nice bulbs.So today i drag my girls to Dublin,,to Mr.M.shop.

   Come out very happy!!!

p.s.I could blame Rachel too,,with her nerines...it was that drop before last drop in my patiente cup:))

At last in flower,i thought that this year i won't see any flowers,because it started grow first leaves.Right now i have one open bloom,and 2 flower stems.Richest flowering was 2 years ago with 4 flower stems 16 blooms,,poorest last year only one stem,,but then it growed new baby bulb beside.So i forgive it about that.Widest part of  bloom is same size like my hand.Thanks again to my friend for so nice gift:)

First crocus!

'Crocus 'Cream beauty'

  Yesterday went out with camera,to check what new happen in garden.And yes,,,first crocus 'Cream beauty' is flowering.Hellebores now have fat flower buds,can't wait to see them open,it will be first flowering for them.

    Great stuf,it mean spring is really in the air.
