Today was nice day for photos,i take some of course.And these crocus were like made from silk when sun shine.

Hepatica nobilis.

Here was great day,and belive that all of you could were out in gardens today.

  Did bits and pieces,and thinking about rose bed.Can't decide where to make it.

  Some news :

-last year,at 1th April  i sowed erantis and Hepatica nobilis,now they are up,both almost on same day.2 weeks ago i thought,must throw them out,because nothing happen there.

-peonies what i sowed 2010 and 2011 germinated,some is up,like seeds from Deborah.Others have nice fat ''roots''So i was so happy that order new paeonies seeds. 

- I colected seeds from my red helleborus,last year and sowed them too,and yes they popping up.

I have 2 varieties of snowdrops in garden(sorry Paddy..),one nivalis and other,i think it is flora plena,but,no mater,i love it any way.

  Krista was so kind,and sent me them over once upon time,last year they didn't flower,and i though that i kill them planted in wrong place.But this year surprise,surprise,they is alive and flowering :))

So,i'm at home and and with computer.Nikola is sick,and i can't go out to politunnel,but i even do not want go out today,,not yet...

  Now,what i did all this time,work in garden,and in politunnel.First i tidied up one corner in politunnel,and covered there with black,,how it call,not plastic,but you use it for covering if you do not want weeds there,so i cover with that,and then i tidied up oter corner,and made place my own work place ther. :)

When i finish i repoted pelargoniums,fuchsias and other plants what is pots.Planted new bulbs and tubers,When fed up work in politunnel went out and did some weedingdigging and planting.So,very simmilar like this almost every day,for couple hours.Star dig up my ''herb garden''said borders,,don't like how it look like,but no idea what to do to make it look better,so dug up,and then will see.

  I moved out my engeltropmpets,repoted them,and now they is in politunnel,where i made little garden fleece tent for them,and other not so hardy plants,like South african bulbs too.(repoted too)

  Ah,yes i had(still have) my ''annual spring maddnes'' in head,2 weeks ago,Liam was at home for weekend so i was lucky and he brought me to 3 g/c,best one was at National Garden exhibition centre,there was lots lots bulbs,and i got 2 varieties of eucomis-bicolour and autumnalis,new hemerocallis-Destinited to see(when i checked web,it didn't look so nice like on photo on pack),peony rosea-just pink peony,Canna ''Wyoming'' and Sprekelia formosissima,,all is poted and then will see in summer howit will grow.And when i went out i saw double hellebores for 7.50..how do you do not get one???

I was one of them lucky who got nice Helleborus plant at Johnstown meeting at 08.01.Now it have very nice big flower bud,and i can't wait when it will be open.

Of cyclamen coum what i got last saturday in Altamont].Is it not pretty and sweet little thing?Love leaves,i think it had best ornament on leaf from all them what i saw there.:)

Official gardening season opened.

Helleborus.

 In my garden.I know lots of you do weeding,sowing,digging,planting already long time.Today i woke up from my winter hibernation,and went out in garden for couple hours.I weed ''herb garden'',i put up some compost on flower beds what need it,i water plants in politunnel(that i did any way if needed,same in greenhouse).Mixed compost for my new outdoor orchid,and let it stay for day in greenhouse,to warm up before planting.

  And yes,my friend,postman visit me again:) For my joy,,i got nice tick letter from Paddy,thank you Paddy very much,that will keep me busy for while :)Then i got my seeds from Mr.Fothergill-Antirrhium ''Maddame Butterfly''.and ''Twinny Peach'',and i got my pink delphinium ''Rosy Future'',what i was looking for some time.

And i got parcel with Dactylorhiza fuchsii,Eucomis comosa ''Sparkling Burgundy'' and ''Twinkle Stars''.hope this time i will be more lucky and will be able to keep them not just for one summer(like i did with other eucomis,couple years ago).

  I did take some nice photos in garden,later will uploud them.

Passiflora

I about my passiflora(still don't know it real name).It was in greenhouse un till first real frosts,then i brough it in and put in bath room.First it drop some leaves,and flower buds,then stop do that,and for my big surprise started to grow new flower buds,even that light not very good.

You must read Jacintas journal,and you will know all about my day out.How i trawel down to Co.Carlow with Jacinta and Steve,and how Rachel met us,and how i forgot my camera's memory card(.but i got couple photos any way,as you see)And then after visiting our favorite area(plant sales) we went to Rachels,where Norman was busy with bread roll baking,and we had nice lunch,and chat.And even got out for quick look around Rachel's garden(then start raining again),before went home.
