October colour
Was out in the garden yesterday planting the rest of my bulbs ,I planted them in pots as I want to change a few things in the garden and I do not want to disturb them.
I took a few photos of some of the colours still left and then the rain and the wind came I had to move some pots as I thought they would end up on the beach .I hate this time of the year not much to be doing in the garden.
I spent last night looking at my garden books and it is a bad as this site ,you see so much you want and want to change it is good and bad and expensive ,came across a beautiful book on hanging baskets for all seasons .I also came across a garden design which I would love to try but I have it all in the book and I can make up my mind over the weeks to come of rain and wind which is now arrived,Sorry but I have to wait to get my photos up so I just cut the flowers of my dahilas and put inside in water I could not leave them outside to get battered.
SO HAPPY GARDENING FROM YOUR BOOKS THAT MAY BE HIDING.

The Four Seasons
I had a great time on Saturday even after working nine hours,
Got home at 7 15 had a shower and out again to dinner and after on to my sisters house to play cards finished up at 3 15 am won 56 euro very happy with myself.
My husband asked me would I like something for the garden for my birthday and I said oh! I would love him to pick something as he just does the manual work for me so I was so suprised when I opened up my present to find it was for the house instead. He said when the weather is not good to be in the garden I would enjoy it
Well I love it it is called THE FOUR SEASONS by Genisis and Irish made
So I am 1 year OLDER WISER HAPPIER and am looking forward to more gardening for a long time to come
Thank you all who sent me wishes by messages and on this site

My Fuchia
Today I cleaned the garden of the leaves which do not belong to me but I put them into my compost bin anyway.
My bulbs are planted at long last I put them all into pots I hope I planted them deep enough as I was reading an article this evening and it made me think I had some small ones and I did not plant them to deeply but they are done now so heres hoping they will be ok.
Went to the front and the same amount of leaves to be picked up it was worse as there are trees all on the road and we live at the bottom of a hill and thy all blow into my garden but it will make good compost.
My Fuchia growing out the front garden is just full of colour and I never do any thing with it I only break it of at the ground not even with a pruner and it comes back every year
Spent some time cleaning windows washing curtains and getting the house back in shape as I have had one of my sisters home from New Oreleans and not a lot done in the house or garden so all spick and span now am back to work tomorrow and Saturday so Happy Gardening to you all.
