The Shoe Box
A Man and a woman had been married for more than 60 years . They shared everything they talked about everything. They kept no secrets from each other except that the little old Woman had a shoe box in the top of her closet that she had cautioned her husband never to open or ask her about it.
For all these years he had never thought about the box, but one day the little old woman got very sick and the doctor said she would not recover.
In trying to sort out their affairs the little old man took down the box and took it to his wifes bedside. She agreed it was time that he should know what was in the box, he found two crocheted dolls and a stack of money €95,000 He asked her about the contents . When we were married she said my grandmother told me The secret of a happy marriage was to never argue and if I ever got angry with you I should keep quiet and crochet a doll, The little old man was so moved he had to fight back the tears ,only two precious dolls were in the box She had only been angry with him two times in all those years of living and loving He almost burst with happiness honey that explains the dols but what about all the money whare did it come from ? Oh she said thats the money I made from selling the dolls.
A prayer Dear Lord I pray for wisdom to understand my man Love to forgive him and patience for his moods:
Because Lord if I pray for strength I'll beat him to death,
Because I don't have time to Crochet.

Love it but at €240 no way
Fran you are great at visiting garden centers and this is one I had not visited and went yesterday its The Scalp Nurseries between Kilternan and Enniskery a gardeners paradise but you would need a wage like one in Goverment I saw this Acer and fell for it but when we saw the price well what do you think yes it was left there it was €240 and I thought a bit pricy. So thanks Fran it was a lovely big garden center but a little expensive for us.
Its only about 3 ft in height.

Been Busy
I have had a very busy week and with the computer on off for a week now so we are changing over and hopefully it will be ok. This week was Cancer awareness week and Friday was Pink Ribbon day as I work voluntary for the Bray area I was out every day. Hopefully this journal will go.
I finished planting all my bulbs at last, and cleaned up most of the leaves until the next breeze never ending until all are gone. Looks like the weather is settled for a few days so get out there and enjoy whats left.
