i bought this orchid today, i have never had one before, but even i, cant feck this one up as its winter hardy, {and yes anne}. comes back year after year and the main selling point, the butterflies love it. you also have it flowering from july until october. sun or semi shade.

hooverfly.
did anyone notice an abundance of hooverflies today?, i came home from work this evening and did the usual hug the plants before the family :-). and i have never seen so many hooverflies before, which is great, so just wondering is it just a local thing or did you see more than usual.

night scent
i have been looking forward to these flowering as i grew these annuals from seed and the scent is really nice. i have them in a portable planter, its in my mid summer album. this way i can move them to where i am!

plants are unsure.
i noticed a lot of plants going for the second flush of flowers, but thats a bonus for all i think, i just feed them if their adament to give again.
