Grasses

I think I do spent most of my gardening just looking at the plants... I am so happy to see new flowers appearing on heleborus, first crocus peeing out, primroses shining in different colours, birds getting active eating slugs. so many shades of greens in the garden so far and spring is in the air with the longer evenings and fresh manure in farmers fields (well this is not so attractive)..

today i spotted this grass beside the pond, Fran gave it to me last year (thank you) and I so pleased with the  bright colour in January.

Back to work tomorrow,.... boring

I am out ...

I am out in my garden today.. was too windy to dig the veg patc so decided to clear the spring garden- its mostly primroses and hellebores, few heuceras and geraniums in it..... was nice enough untill have to run and screem for a bit... Our cat kills mice and rats so this time was a big fat rat laying in the flower bed.... thanks gods my bro is coming to see me tomorrow and i will get this rat removed.. yuck
